David Aitken

David was born in Scotland, and before retiring worked in (West) Germany, in 1971 in Giessen (The Giessener Sprachschule), in Qatar (where he wrote the state English exams for 12 years), the UAE, Cyprus and Hong Kong. He contributed regular columns for The Weekly Gulf Times, The Cyprus Weekly, The Cyprus Mail and the Dundee Courier. He currently lives in Broughty Ferry, Scotland.
